- Features:
- Publisher of Collaboration.
- Description:
- The primary purpose of the Sri Aurobindo Association is to distribute
information about Sri Aurobindo, the Mother, and Auroville, and to support
various projects related to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, and work
in America related to the Integral Yoga.
SAA publishes the journal "Collaboration", maintains a number
of websites for various Sri Aurobindo centers, and administers 25 different
e-mail lists related to the yoga. SAA is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation.
We forward donations to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville and to other
foreign non-profit trusts sharing our mission to promote the teachings
of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. One-twelfth of each contribution goes
to support Mother's work through SAA. We work to facilitate collaboration
and cooperation among the community of devotees, especially through financial
and logistical support of the annual AUM (All - USA - Meeting) conference,
and support and coordination of lecture tours by sadhaks visiting the
US. SAA does not represent the Sri Aurobindo community as any kind of
authority.
- Future Plans:
- We have a number of publishing projects in the dream stage, including
works by contemporary devotees of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother and an
anthology of sadhak's poetry.
- How you can help:
- Donations to assist the work and subscriptions to "Collaboration" are
most welcome.
