Park Guest House

A beautiful guest house located on the beach, approximately a mile away from the Ashram. It takes about 20 minutes by walk and 5 minutes by bicycle to get to the Ashram from here. It has 1, 2, 3, 4 bedded rooms. The total number of rooms is 85. Most of the rooms have balconies facing the sea and offer a nice sea view. Facilities include reading room, meditation room, garden, restaurant, laundry, bicycle, scooter rental and parking space (owner driven cars).

Cottage Guest House

A quiet guest house located in the Cottage Complex compound (above the Bureau Central), close to the Ashram. It takes 3 to 4 minutes by walk to the Ashram from here. It has 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 bedded rooms. The total number of rooms is 36. Facilities include Library, Laundry. Tea (free of charge) is served everyday between 3.30 and 4.00 pm. Requires a two-day minimum period of stay to obtain a reservation (generally given to those who are known, or stayed here previously).

International Guest House

A nice guest house located only a couple of minutes walk from the Ashram. It has 1, 2, 3 bedded rooms. The total number of rooms is 77. Facilities include laundry, tea and food on order.

Mother's Guest House

Located in the rural Vaithikuppam area of Pondicherry on the Beach Rd. going north, "Mother's House" is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute cycle ride to the Ashram Samadhi. There are 12 rooms, each named after the 12 aspects of Mother's symbol, single occupancy only, each with an attached bathroom; and most rooms have a private balcony overlooking the magnificent sea. Room rates are approximately $3.25 to $4.25 per day, with a one week minimum stay required; longer visits up to 6 months are allowed. There is a spacious meditation room, library, dining area, cycle parking in the basement and roof terrace where hatha yoga classes are offered every morning at 6:00 am with the sunrise. Daily meditation and monthly concerts of devotional music by Ashram musicians are being held. Guests can purchase meal tickets for the Ashram Dining hall, or opt for vegetarian meals offered at a reasonable price, including foods catered to Western tastes. Minimum 1 week stays are required. Reduced monthly rate is available, and longer stays up to 6 months are possible. In "Mother's House", peace, cleanliness, harmony, and a special atmosphere invoking Sri Aurobindo's and Mother's Presence is aspired for. All devotees from around the world are welcome.

Seaside Guest House

A sea facing guest house located close to the Ashram, about 5 minutes by walk from it. Facilities include laundry and the three meals on order.
